Friday afternoon before a three day weekend. I'm finishing up work and snow just started falling. We were supposed to be visiting family in Kentucky, but the weather changed our plans.
Now I get a long weekend at home. I want to finish my second Stopover. The second sleeve is nearly done and the colorwork yoke will go fast. Snow and a subzero windchill are the perfect excuse to spend hours sitting in my big yellow chair, hands full of wool.
I have yarn to wind and patterns to print for my next two knitting projects, a shawl and a sweater. Finally breaking into the Empire I carried home from Rhinebeck in my purse. Somehow I've turned into a Sweater Knitter and want to always have one on the needles.
If I haven't frozen solid after a stop at the Winter Farmers' Market tomorrow morning, I might head down to Franklin to see Funny Face at the Historic Artcraft Theater.
