It was a whirlwind of a trip, but I managed to squeeze three days of wool, knitters, and fun into the second week of my new job. I flew into New York very early Friday morning and met up with a friend for the ride up to Rhinebeck. We had a 250 year old house in the woods, full of friends for the weekend. There was so much food and laughter and yarn. Between Rhinebeck last year and Asheville this spring, it has been so great to put real live faces and names to all of the wonderful knitters I've been talking to on the internet all these years.
I'm already looking forward to the next time we can get a group together.
